That really is a pathetic thing for the JW's to brag about, a non-issue, and especially stupid considering there is a good case that Jesus may have in fact died on a cross (of some sort). Leolaia has written quite a good article on this.
Having that kind of thing in their tract just turns regular Christians completely off. Dumb.

It's ok for a woman to chase a man a little bit. It shouldn't always be the guy always chasing. I personally hate it when a woman never initiates anything and acts aloof. And if you have been seeing this guy for months and sleeping with him, you are entitled to text him often...that is not chasing him. Has to be some reciprocating by the woman, but the main thing is the man should do most of the chasing.
But in this case, yes, put him on ice and let him come to you.

Doctrinal ramifications of large increase in 2008 memorial partakers?

there were increases in the previous years too.. this massive increase is no doubt attributeable to the 'new light' this year that the calling of the 'heavenly class' was not closed in 1935, as previously taught.
the new understanding this year is that the calling of the 'anointed' class is 'evidently' still open.

You're probably right dozy. If we see these kinds of increases up until 2014/15 that pushes the number of partakers up to 15-20k then some reasonably significant doctrinal changes might happen around then. Meantime, don't hold your breath.

by tresdecu innormally i would just pm you, but if you answer i figured others might want to read your reply.. before you had your personal crisis of conscience while at bethel (that sparked the major turning point in you life)...did you have other doubts?...ones that you brushed to the side while serving among the 'elite' at "god's house" .
ps: i have enjoyed your experiences that i have read on other sites, along with your comments on the 'nethinim' fiasco.
